Farmers Harvest COVID-19 Update
To minimise the spread of the Coronavirus we have implemented a number of strategies at Farmers Harvest.
The first is the launch of our new website.
We strongly encourage all our customers over the coming weeks and months to order online and select either the CLICK & COLLECT or LOCAL DELIVERY options.
Click and collect: The Click and Collect service will be open every day our Farm Gate shop is open. You can select to pick up between 9am to 5pm daily. You'll be prompted to text us when you arrive at the shop and tell us where you have parked. Please don't unwind the windows but do pop the boot for us. One of our team members will load your groceries directly into your boot.
Local deliveries: We will deliver to your property with contactless delivery strategies. The driver will text upon approach & leave deliveries at the front door or fence. Due to the perishable nature of deliveries we do not advise you plan deliveries if you will not be home to take them inside immediately.
Shopping in store: If you do have to come into the storefront the following guidelines have been put in place to adhere to the strict social distancing measures put in place in Victoria:
- DO NOT come to the store if you are sick or experiencing any flu like symptoms
- Only send ONE person from your household to the shop
- Before entering the store use the alcohol gel to sterilise your hands
- Please DO NOT move into the next designated are until the person in front of you has moved
There is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is spread through food but we want to assure that our team handling and packing your produce are following all the government guidelines in relation to food preparation and handling, see more here.
We encourage all our customers & suppliers to stay safe and well during this period, practice good hand hygiene - wash your hands frequently with soap and water for 20 seconds.
